Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them

For Mother's Day, each of the children in Katelyn's class made a booklet for their Mommy.  Inside were coupons for various chores, poems about mothers and personalized descriptions of the mom.

Katelyn filled in the blanks of "My Special Mother."

My mother is the most wonderful mom in the world!  She's as pretty as a rose.  She weighs 92 pounds. She is 10 feet tall.  Her favorite food is chips.  When my mom was little, she used to play Barbies. The prettiest thing about my mom is her hair.  I wouldn't trade my mother for high heels.  Happy Mother's Day! Love, Katelyn

Katelyn also created a booklet in which she filled in the blanks:

If my mom were a color she would be red because she makes me happy.  If my mom were an animal she would be a graf (giraffe) because she's com .  If my mom were candy, she would be a yellow one because she's chirfol! (cheerful)  If my mom were  a car she would be a smart car because she likes they .  If my mom were a sport she would be ice scite (ice skating) because she's fun!

Such sweet and funny words from my little girl. Hard to believe she's finishing 1st grade in 2 weeks!!

I am so thankful to the Lord for the children he's placed in our family. We are blessed to have a quiver full of them just like the Psalm says.  I love how God placed each one with their unique personalities in our family.

I pray often that they will love the Lord their God with all their hearts and all their souls and all their minds and all their strength all the days of their lives.  And I pray daily for wisdom in raising them.  What an honor to be their Mommy!  Thank you, Lord, for lending these precious 3 lives to Brad and me.
