I am so thankful that every year one of my neighbors hires Santa from Stonebriar Centre to come to her house in early November. We pay a minimal sitting fee per family and can take as many photos as we like with our own cameras! It's wonderful... no crowds, no germs, no irritable parents and children who have waiting for hours in line to see this realistic Santa. Today the girls attended a birthday party on one side of the street and Josh and I trooped to the other side to see Santa. Josh couldn't have been happier. Josh sat in Santa's lap and smiled nicely for his photos. He stroked Santa's long beard and chatted with him. It was so cute!
The girls will not be seeing Santa this year. As another neighbor said to me, "Where's your Mom card? Give it here. I'm snipping off a corner!" I know, I know... it's awful. But there are worse things. :)
