Not much to report but in case you want to know our weekend plans, here they are.
Tonight we are doing nothing. I think I'll address our Christmas cards. Everyday in December I look forward even more than usual to getting the mail. I love seeing the photos of everyones kids or families. It's so much fun.
Tomorrow Brad is playing in his work's annual Young Bucks Old Timers football game. He's considered an Old Timer since he's been with the firm for a while. You could pray for his safety (really, all the players' safety). They take the game very seriously and there are some spring chickens fresh out of college who tackle those "older" fellows as if they are all the same age. I may be reporting tomorrow afternoon from the ER!! Do I see a 5th ACL repair coming???
Tomorrow afternoon Josh will attend his first bday party for one of his friends... not a family friend or a big sister's friend.... his friend. His little friend Jackson from school is having a Thomas the Train party so Josh is thrilled! Josh and Jackson are best buddies at school.
Tomorrow night we have another unusually quiet night. Nothing on the calendar. Maybe a Christmas movie rerun and some popcorn? We'll see. Poor Brad has worked long hours this week so I'm thinking naps and early nights are in order for everyone. Sunday is another quiet day; church and a Pump it Up birthday party for one of Kirsten's classmates are the only things on the agenda. Don't you just love quiet weekends? They are a rare thing these days.
Speaking of napping, I'm off to nap now. My car died yesterday afternoon so I am without wheels. A friend is picking up the girls from school and keeping them to play with her daughter so Josh and I will be sleeping.
